Hey There!!! It's Bowaev here :3
Bob told me to write you a thank you letter, and so did Bosip- so that's what I'm doing!!
How do i even say Thanks with just words?! I usually give people i want to thank some cookies, but sadly I can't give you some right now… Here, have an image of a cookie instead! I think that's close enough!
It's been rather boring recently- Come hang out with us soon!! I'm sure Bofo would love to treat you with his amazing cooking!
Anyways…! I hope you like my pair of shoes!! I'm sure they will fit comfortably on you! Be careful to not wear them the wrong way around! Hehe~
Oh! there's also a surprise waiting for you inside the package, be careful! It might be fragile!
-----
Oh?
You knew about the letter, and the merch, but the mention of a surprise waiting inside the package was… well, a surprise.
Putting the personalized letter aside, you pat off some of the packing peanuts and
\<<linkappend "reveal the merch you had bought.">>
Of course, it was Bowaev's rather cute Duo-Toned shoes!
With only a quick glance it would be easy to mistake this pair as somebody mismatching their shoes on accident, but that's the style of it. The right shoe was a vibrant cyan, while the left was a bright yellow. The shoelaces were tipped with some cute stars, and the size was shown at the bottom of the shoe.
It was simple, but it was nice.
After thoroughly checking through the piles of packing material, you make contact with something metallic inside the box. Must be that surprise mentioned in the letter, you thought.
Whatever the object was, it's light enough to lift with a single hand. After you carefully pull it out, you slowly realize that it was none other than the iconic visor that Bowaev has on his neck most of the time!
…Or was it a Visor? No one word could truly describe it.
You were very surprised that the store had given you a freebie that not only was also from the same series (let alone, same CHARACTER?!) It was also surprisingly high quality! It wasn't just 3D Printed for display, this was genuinely metallic, and the front was actual glass (or, what you'd assume is glass)
From the looks of things, it might even be powered! You could vaguely tell that the front was almost like the front of an LCD screen as opposed to just regular glass.
Excited to try on your newly acquired articles of clothing, you clean up the packaging to make sure your room has space and move the table with the box just a little bit to the side.
Quickly, you take off your bedroom slippers, put on purposefully mismatched socks that you had bought beforehand (now that's some real dedication to staying true to the character design) and slip on the pair of shoes.
Despite the fact that you ordered your exact size, it was a tad bit tight, but no matter! It was still pretty comfortable, and most importantly? It looked GOOD.
With no hesitation, you quickly move on to putting on the special visor… So quick that you don't even notice that faint tingling in your legs.
A faint feeling of dizziness crashes onto you, and while for a second it felt like you had suddenly got some intense vertigo the feeling gradually calmed down.
Thinking nothing of what just happened, you continue to grab the…
Wait.
Were you always this close to the table? You could've sworn that it wasn't this tall before…
[[It's probably nothing...|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 1][$ml_bowaev to "nothing"]]
[[Something's up!|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 1][$ml_bowaev to "something"]]
<</linkappend>><<if $ml_bowaev is "nothing">>\
<<set $ml_identitydeath += 1>>\
Ah, no bother. You're probably just seeing things and misremembering.
You've always been a bit average with your height anyways. No?
<<else>>\
You raise an eyebrow and look around…
Yeah, it was the entire room that had seemingly grown, or… it would be more accurate to say that you got //smaller.//
You were always considered to be above average, so the fact you shrunk just a bit made things a bit weird…
<</if>>\
Nonetheless, you decide to now focus on the visor.
Picking it up, you grab the thick, gray strap from both ends and wrap it around your neck, making sure to tighten it just right so that it fits snugly.
You smiled, this was the best use of your money, EVER.
Taking a few steps around (your now admittedly bigger) room, these shoes also felt like they were genuinely built to be used by someone who moved a lot, it felt so bouncy while you walked, though it did feel like you were actually walking with a bit more pep in your step, must be the //excitement!//
You walk out of your room and into the house, deciding that making breakfast was now your top priority, since you felt rather hungry. Also, a good opportunity to get used to the sensation of wearing this visor and the shoes is to actually wear them while doing something actively, so to the kitchen you go!
Gosh, your house looked slightly warmer than usual, and… did your walls always have dado rails?
It does look more natural… ah, you'll ponder more about it Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 2Speaking of breakfast, now's a good time to think about what to actually eat. There was nobody home right now @@opacity:0.4;(an odd thing to think about when you could've sworn that you have always lived alone…)@@ so the kitchen is all yours!
Looking through the kitchen, you notice that your [[fridge|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 3][$ml_bowaev to "fridge"]] is suspiciously fuller than usual, and your cupboards are filled with a lot of various things, notably, [[baking tools.|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 3][$ml_bowaev to "baking"]]<<if $ml_bowaev is "baking">>\
You… didn't bake, you think you lived with someone that baked, but somehow that sounds incorrect? You can't exactly pinpoint why it feels wrong, but it's safe to just assume that you do live with a baker.
I mean, hell, you shouldn't even be entertaining the idea of trying to bake. You were always avoidant of it because of how oddly //precise// everything has to be, though you had to admit, baked goods were always your favorite… maybe baking some cookies? It's rather hard to mess up something so simple…
You think about it for a good few seconds, but you're too hungry to do anything hard right now. With your hunger leading your decisions, you decide to just check out what was <<linkappend "freely available nearby.">>
Ontop of the counters, you could see some various boxes of cereal; There were many kinds too, like //Corn Flakes//, //Rice Krispies...// oh! There was an unopened box of //Lucky Charms!// Other than cereal, there was also a tupperware with two sandwiches inside, with jam and peanut butter oozing out of the sides.
Within the oddly hard to reach cupboards, the only thing of interest you could really find are some //sweet, sweet oreos!// Nothing much else though.
[[Oreos!|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 4][$ml_bowaev to "Oreos"]]
[[Lucky Charms!|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 4][$ml_bowaev to "Lucky Charms"]]
[[The PB & J!|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 4][$ml_bowaev to "PB & J"]]
<</linkappend>>
<<else>>\
Upon closer inspection... yup. The fridge has a lot more food than it usually would. It even has actual cooking ingredients!
No, seriously, why the hell do you have an entire f...fucking steak from the deli?! Last you remember, you were living off instant noodles and those 'sweet' cookies.
Speaking of, for some odd reason, nothing here seemed appealing to you. At least, nothing you could immediately have. For some reason, you felt like you wanted to wait until //some robot// cooks food for everyone, but... again, you lived alone! And a robot of all things?? Your brain seriously needs to chill.
You don't know why exactly the thought of cooking didn't sound like an option, so you simply close the fridge and look around [[the cupboards.|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 3][$ml_bowaev to "baking"]]
<</if>>\<<if $ml_bowaev is "Oreos">>\
As you reach for the Oreos, you notice something peculiar.
The countertop seemed a lot higher than you remembered, forcing you to stretch a bit more to reach the darn cookies.
<<else>>\
As you reach for the $ml_bowaev, you notice... something odd.
The countertop seemed way too close than it usually would. You wouldn't call yourself short, but this seemed... wrong.
<</if>>\
Nonetheless, You simply brush it off, attributing it to your still-waking brain playing tricks on you.
You weren't usually one to eat too much early in the morning, not when you ate so much sweets later on in the day... You've gotten used to leaving space.
Once you have your small breakfast, you leave the kitchen, being greeted by the living room. For a split second, your brain does something weird. You almost expect to see... //Bobal?// ...sitting on the couch watching TV. The thought is so clear, so real, that its absence feels odd. You shake your head. Why would you expect that? He's a character. He's not... real. Right?
Then another name pops into your head, just as insistently. //Bosip.//
[[Bobal? Bosip? Why am I thinking about them like they live here..?|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 5][$ml_bowaev to "who"]]
[[Yeah... Bosip, That name feels... familiar.|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 5][$ml_bowaev to "bosip"]]<<if $ml_bowaev is "bosip">>\
<<set $ml_identitydeath += 1>>\
Of course, Bosip! You didn't really talk to him that often, especially since he and //Bob// always seemed so caught up in their own little shenanigans.
Like, literally a few days ago, Bob and Bosip both found themselves stuck in some sort of mod, it was [name]'s idea, sure, but they still got themselves stuck nonetheless.
It was honestly kinda funny! Seeing them get pranked like that... you should prank them again soon, it's been a while since you've pranked someone!
Feeling a sudden burst of energy, you decide to walk around the house a bit more. You don't know when it happened- but the walls are painted a warmer tone now, and you gotta admit, it makes the vibes much more familiar and cozy!
From the kitchen, you have to places available to you. You could go, like, 5 steps to your right, and look around the [[living room|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 6][$ml_bowaev to "living room"]].
Or... you could go back to [[your room|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 6][$ml_bowaev to "bedroom", $ml_source to "kitchen"]], maybe mess around with some files there and prepare another prank!
<<else>>\
The two odd names echo in your head. Bobal? Bosip? They don't sound like names, but moreso some random nonsense. ^^And even that feels odd, like there's a person named nonsense... oh well.^^
You shake your head, a hand holding it to try and clear out the mental fog.
You live alone.
You've //always// lived alone.
As you cling onto that fact, a sharp pain strikes just behind your eyes. ==Bowaev's goggles==, //YOUR// goggles..? You didn't realize, but it somehow fits better now than it did earlier. The pressure that was there is just... gone, replaced by a comfortable, familiar weight.
The sudden headache makes you stumble. You need some water.
You turn back towards the kitchen, but end up walking into the room next to it instead. You didn't even mean to, your legs just... went that way.
You look up, the realization that you weren't in the kitchen hitting you like a truck.
You were in... your creator's old room. ^^You wouldn't dare mention his name nowadays...^^
Though he hasn't been here in... a long time. 5 years now? Probably.
You stumble farther into the room, eventually catching your balance in front of his closet mirror...
And you freeze.
That's not your face.
Your hair, once your normal style and color, is now a riot of fluffy, bright blue tufts. Your face seems... softer? Younger? Not to mention, your eyes are definitely bigger and more expressive, but.. the most notable part is that they're different colours now. One, a bright, sunny yellow, the other an energetic light blue.
You feel a wave of panic.
That kid staring at you in the mirror... that's Bowaev.
You start to realize- that's why the house felt oddly familiar despite being different than you remembered! The warm orange walls, white dado rails, ceramic floor all over the place, the kitchen with ingredients a chef like Bofo would be using everyday, the living room with the TV that Bobal constantly has open...
It was the Bob Gang's house, and you were becoming one of them!
[[Run out of here and go to your bedroom.|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 6][$ml_bowaev to "bedroom", $ml_source to "room"]]
[[Reach up and touch your nice, fluffy hair...|Mysterious-Letter Bowaev 6][$ml_bowaev to "fluff"]]
<</if>>\<<if $ml_bowaev is "bedroom">>\

<<if $ml_source is "room">>\
You run out, the door closing automatically behind you.
Approaching the door, you don't even pay mind to the fact it's no longer a traditional door with a handle. You stood still- whether if be out of instinct, you don't know. But you let it scan your entire body, letting you in after the scan.
<<elseif $ml_source is "kitchen">>\
Feeling giddy, you bounce back to your room. The door, which you somehow didn't notice had the symbol of your Wave form and Boder's spider form, scans your entire body as it usually does.
Once it recognizes you, the door swings open and you happily step inside.
<</if>>\
Gone are the dull walls decorated with nothing but a single poster. That's been replaced with tons of cute posters, stickers, and even tiny bits of graffiti that you remember working on! Though- Only your side of the room is this decorated, Boder's side is still as clean and organized as ever.
Typical Boder!
You make your way to your setup, not even noting the fact that your boring old PC has been replaced by a sleek, custom-built machine humming with power.
You slide into the comfy gaming chair. The computer is already on. The desktop was filled to the brim with files, games such as Minecraft, Friday Night Funkin' & Geometry Dash (hey! that's where you're from!) as well as folders; one of which being a folder with a custom-made icon you made, labeled as "PRANK IDEAS!!!"
You click on the prank folder instinctively. Inside of it, there were tons of text files that have a bunch of hilarious ideas. One involving Bob, a bucket of confetti, and a rigged doorway makes you laugh out loud.
Except... it's not your laugh; At least, it's not the one you remembered.
It's higher, more carefree & energetic, and it sounds more like a giggle. You cover your mouth in surprise, then try it again, letting out another happy "Hehe~!"
Wow! Your voice sounds so much more cheerful now! Not that you remember it sounding like anything else anyways. Though there was a... slight hint of tiredness present...
<<else>>\
You burst into your bedroom, or... well, what's left of it.
The familiar comfort is gone, replaced by //Bowaev's// room. Your old posters are gone, your bed has been swapped with a comfy single bed with piles of plushies, and your PC setup has been replaced with a sleek gaming rig you don't recognize.
Panic claws at your throat. "What is this?!" you try to shout, but what comes out is a high-pitched, energetic voice.
"W-Wha—?!" You clamp your hands over your mouth. That's not your voice. It can't be. It sounded like //his// voice.
You look down at yourself. Your familiar clothes are gone, replaced by a duo-toned blue and yellow long-sleeved shirt and shorts. They feel... natural. Too natural.
It feels like this has been the outfit you wore every single day.
You try to pull at the sleeve, but a wave of exhaustion suddenly washes over you, your arms feeling heavy and weak.
Your mind feels... fuzzy. The panic is still there, but it's distant, like an echo. It's being buried under an overwhelming urge to just... play some games, maybe? Or... try pulling a prank on... on Bob?
Yeah, that sounds fun. And... tiring.
<</if>>\
<<elseif $ml_bowaev is "living room">>\
You bounce into the living room, the soft padding of your mismatched shoes alongside the jumpiness you suddenly feel makes you grin.
Everything about this place just feels... right!
The TV is on, playing some random cartoon. You could've sworn Bobal left it on earlier... //or was that yesterday?//
Time's been kinda fuzzy lately, but //whooooo careeeesss!!!// You're here to have fun!
You hop onto the familiar couch, landing on some pillows as you sink into the cushions.
On the coffee table, there's a half-eaten bag of gummy bears (your favorite!) and...
Oh! A sticky note!
You pick it up, the handwriting is messy, aggressive, and clearly it was with a pencil instead of a pen... you had a sinking feeling you know who this is from.
//"bowaev i swear to god don't eat all the gummies this time//
//and stop putting lemon juice in my fucking drinks jfc thanks//
// - bobal"//
You giggle. Right! You forgot that you always lace- er... //add lemon juice// to Bobal's drinks! That was hilarious! You should definitely do that again soon... er- wait, you've done that before?
<<if $ml_identitydeath gte 2>>
Yeah! You've pranked Bobal //tons// of times! The lemon juice thing, the time you messed with his hair, or the time when you hid the TV remote for like a week...
The memories feel so vivid, so real..! You can practically hear his annoyed grumbling and see that exasperated look on his face, classic Bobal!
You pop a couple gummy bears into your mouth //(hehe~ sorry Bobal!)// and lean back into the couch cushions...
Man, all this excitement is really catching up to you now...
<<else>>
The note sits in your hand, and you stare at it with growing confusion.
Lemon juice in drinks..? Pranking Bobal? That sounds like something you'd do, but... you can't actually remember doing it.
The memory feels like it should be there, but it's not. It's like trying to remember a dream after waking up.
And why does this house feel so familiar when it really, //really// shouldn't?
Why do you feel like you know these people..? Y'know, Bobal, Bosip, Boder... when they're all just... //characters?//
Your head throbs.
The visor around your neck suddenly feels too tight, too warm. You reach up to adjust it, but your hands are shaking.
You could've sworn that you felt it release some sort of pulse onto your body, but...
Ugh, you need to think.
You need to figure out what's happening.
But- the exhaustion hits you like a truck, making your limbs feel heavy.
<</if>>
<<else>>\
Your hand trembles as you raise it, but the moment your fingers sink into the impossibly soft, fluffy blue hair, the feeling of panic just... vanishes.
It doesn't just feel real; it feels... right.
A wave of happy, calming energy washes over you, erasing the last vestiges of your fear.
Why were you so worried? You look back at the mirror and grin. The kid in the reflection, which was //you//, grins back, your mismatched eyes sparkling with mischief. You look awesome!
Your old clothes feel weird and baggy now. You give a little shake, and with a soft, satisfying poof of colorful light, they reshape themselves. A comfy yellow-and-blue long-sleeved shirt, gray shorts, and mismatched shoes. Everything fits snugly; You look down at your signature outfit. It's Perfect!
You feel a sudden, familiar feeling to check on your prank ideas, maybe add a new one about Bosip and some citric acid... Yeah! That sounds like a great idea!
You turn away from the mirror and head towards your room, the buzzing energy that has been coursing through you dissipates with each step you take towards your room. By the time you arrive at your door, letting the camera scan you before letting you in, you have already transitioned to a deep and peaceful exhaustion.
All that stress, all those weird thoughts, it was... gone. Yeah... this is you.
<</if>>\
//Yawn...//
...
Wow, all of a sudden you feel tired!
Not that you're //too// surprised, since Boder wasn't home last night, you practically stayed up playing games!
<<if $ml_identitydeath lt 1>>\
It... It feels like you //should// be forgetting something, but it's kinda hard when you're so tired!
<</if>>\
A quick nap wouldn't hurt, and since you're comfortable in your signature outfit, you didn't even need to wear pajamas!
You shut off your computer and make your merry way onto your bed, making sure to lie next to your pile of a dozen or two plushies.
"Goggles! Wake me up in two hours, or when they get home early!" You say, cheerful despite the tiredness in your voice. "and turn off the lights for me, Thanksies!"
The lights flicker, before eventually turning off. your energy settles down.
No memory of any boxes, any merch, and most importantly...
No memory of the old you.
[[You fall asleep, content with who you are~|Mysterious-Letter Outro][$ml_source to "bowaev"]]Darn.
You tap on your phone to stop the excessive beeping of your alarm. It was morning already? It certainly didn't feel like it because you have the feeling of barely getting any sleep at all; but you're sure that feeling will pass in a few minutes.
Pushing away the urge to spend the next hour on social media in bed, You rub your eyes, stand up, and stretch your arms. While doing so, you spot the box you had placed on your table yesterday. You remembered that you had bought merch from an online store, though you didn't really want to be emptying your wallet yet- that 30% off on the price was just calling out to you.
Walking up to the box, the only noticeable detail on it was the brand’s logo stamped on a small part of the side with the shipping info. Other than that, it's like any other regular cardboard box; though you do note that the box was very smooth. Is there such thing as high quality cardboard? Probably, but you don't really care much about the logistics of Cardboard Box quality.
With a quick cut with a cutter, the tape splits apart allowing you to open the box up to see the contents inside.
Firstly, on the very top of the package and the packing peanuts, was a letter from the shop’s owner thanking you.
But it was a… //special// kind of letter.
It was themed in the style of the media you ordered from, and the letter itself is written as if the character themselves were the one that wrote it.
It was a very cool concept, you had to admit. Not only do you get cool merch of your favorite characters, but you even get a sort of personalized letter with it! You're honestly shocked that this store didn't seem to have much advertising online, you're super glad you found this site while scrolling down Twitter for hours. What's even crazier is how //accurate// their portrayals are, they even handle headcanons and AUs, how nice!
You pick up the letter and read it. It starts off with a simple greeting from…

WOOOOOOOOOO!
This was fun, mwehehehe!!! I know I already made a Bowaev TF story, so this is technically my... erm, third Bowaev TF, but I can't help it! I have always loved Bowaev's design.
My headcanons for the Bob Gang all give them so much personality anyways, so it's not JUST Bowaev that will get this treatment. Probably, I have no clue if I'll be writing the others in the BoGang, not soon at least. I definitely have plans..! And who knows, maybe ETBGH Will be revived soon... mweheh.

For overall on this little interactives thing, These are more spontaneous, like the description of interactives said.
This one in particular stemmed from an idea I wrote way way back, and it never really materialized since I wasn't too much of a fan. It did eventually stem into the first TF Story i've written as YuuWorks, which was ironically also about Bowaev, who, is the first one to get a path here.
It's quite interesting how my writing has changed since... heh.

!!Interactives
The //bread and butter// of my work~
These are any interactive stories that are either too short for me to make their own post of, or are so spontaneous that I didn't want to make them longer and just stayed as a small interactive.
These aren't limited to branching stories, these could also just be stories with a little bit of interactive content in them.
^^Each of these Interactives could have many more content in them (depends), The interactive will have all the tags, but inside of it, the tags will NOT be specifically labeled- It's for the surprise factor, mwehehe~^^

!!Welcome, welcome!
So, first and foremost, //why didn't you read the description?//
...heh, I jest, I jest~
I have a lot of ideas that I write short snippets for, or entire TFs without rime or reason, these usually end up getting shelved because I don't really feel like the story is worth much or I don't vibe with how I wrote it.
BUT...
I thought, instead, that It'd be fun to compile them all here, in a neat sort-of collection where anyone is free to view what goes on in the half-year when I don't post, mwehehehe~
No seriously I feel so bad for posting so little especially now that I've switched to FA fully
byeSometimes, you just have to wonder how so many people can get so... so //invested// in stories about characters living their lives, maybe stuff about them falling in love, or solving mysteries... and yet, somehow //never// run out of new ones to read.
That's how you currently feel about what you were looking at, at least.
SOOO many people diving deep into visual novel after visual novel, getting attached to characters, playing through //multiple// routes just to see how each one ends... and the bittersweet feeling when all of it is over.
^^Like, seriously, some of these stories stick to people for weeks, even months...^^
You were never really one for Visual Novels. While you're no stranger for stor-driven games that somehow keep you hooked despite being mostly reading... VNs were just different. Maybe it was the commitment of sitting through thousands of lines of dialogue, the hours you have to spend to read through a route fully, or the anxiety of making the "wrong" choice and missing content. Whatever it may be, you just never fully got into them.
Today, however, you had the urge to maaaaaaaaybe try one out for yourself again. You've heard plenty of good things about them, how hard could it be to spend an hour or two to read some etxt and click through a few choices, really?
Going off a quick search on the internet shows you a whole shiny pile of visual novels, there were a couple sites but it seems your best bet was on this site called itch.io.
The more you scroll, the more you realize that there were a lot of similarities between a majority of these VNs, a lot of them featured primarily anthropomorphic characters. //Furry Characters//.
You didn't think much of it at first, but... honestly? The art is pretty good. A lot of these characters were expressive, there were a ton of interesting premises, and a lot of them were free!
That part was honestly the most shocking fact about these, some where only made by small teams or- hell, fucking //SOLO// devs, and each have their own unique ways to tell a story and portray their characters.
Your only issue now was that you have to //choose// which to try, and there are so many to choose from...
You scroll through the Visual Novel tag on Itch, and see a ton of titles. Echo, Cryptid Crush, Lookouts, Promises to Keep... Each one of these titles seem to have its own unique vibe. Some are wholesome slice-of-life stories, some are focused on queer experiences, and others are more focused on horror or mystery.
And, of course, a good handful of these are just... weird, but in a good way... you think.
When you go to log-in to the site and come back to the page, you notice that there were a good chunk of VNs that've been added.
Oh. Yup.
The ones labeled as 18+.
You were half-expecting it to be fine to simply hide these games in your account preferences, but some of these had some really cool art styles, and promised to keep the NSFW content as optional.
For the sake of seeing everything that the site could offer, you decide against turning on the filter and seeing everything you could.
On that topic... you wanted to see how many there are in total, so you quickly turn off the furry tag and...

^^//*As of October 20, 2025//^^
Okay, that is... that is a LOT. You won't run out any time soon... out of curiosity, you go to check how many Furry VNs there are specifically-
[img]
Not too bad! Seems like you have quite the library to choose from, and this isn't even including games still in development or in other platforms!
It'll be a wise choice to only choose one to try out. Maybe you'll choose something based entirely on how appealing the character designs are; Maybe the title or premise interests you… or maybe you'll just choose something because the thumbnail caught your eye.
No matter the reason, it seems you'll have a choice to be making here.
You spend a couple of minutes scrolling through the many, MANY visual novels that were available, cursor hovering over a couple of them to read their descriptions and have a closer look at the character art in the thumbnails...
However, before you could even settle on one VN to try out- You accidentally knock over your cup onto your desk, spilling your drink everywhere! You quickly try to get your electronics out of the way, but your keyboard and moouse seem to have already gotten soaking wet- And they were glitching badly.
You try to alleviate the issue, unplugging them, keeping both devices away from the puddles... but, one wrong move and the mouse suddenly sends a //heavy// shock through your arm and onto your entire body!
Reacting quickly, you drop your mouse and shake your hand, trying to blow on it to try and ease the pain...
With each blow, however, the pins and needles all over your arm simply gets number, and you were getting lightheaded... a buzz hums in your hearing as your vision starts to blur. When you look back at the screen, the blur was gone but the buzz was getting stronger.
It was a bit hard to think properly, especially when the itch.io page had... started to glow? No- no, more specifically... some of the //VN thumbnails// were glowing, pulsing with each thump of your heartbeat.
Something is compelling you to choose one... You don't know why, but... you just //had// to.
Within the many glowing thumbnails, you feel your hands move back to the mouse //(that you could've sworn you had dropped and unplugged)// as you feel drawn to click on...
Cryptid-Crush Intro"Hey there!" A cheerful, doodle-like speechbubble greets you when you start a new game. "My name is Harvey Harvington, and welcome to my... booth!"
A chuckle escapes the character's lips. "Each time you click me, I'll give you a dollar. Sounds like a //sweet// deal, doesn't it?"
You smirk. A clicker game? Featuring someone's OC? Quite the twist, maybe this won't get annoying.
//Click.//
The "0" next to the dollar sign on your screen turns into a "1".
"Here's a tip before you get fully started... I always say clicks are like //tiny little magic spells//, the more you believe in them, the more they'll //do// for ya!"
//Click. Click.//
The rhythm is kinda... hypnotic. You would've listened to the clicking sounds all day. The sounds of your fan fade away as you start to focus entirely on just the clicks.
"Just keep clicking and... //see what happens~//"
//Click. Click. Click.//
...
After a few minutes, you clicked enough to get... wow, a whopping 100 dollars!
The upgrade button flashes yellow.
"Oh hey look! You see the shop button up there?" The character doesn't move, but if the game had animated sprites, you could guess that it was pointing at the big glowing button. "When it starts glowing yellow, that means there's a cool new item to buy!"
Though, it does feel like he's smiling more. "Go check it out buddy!"
You check out the shop and see... a feather?
Well, it was a harmless upgrade, why not.
The next time you click on Harvey, you see the number count go up by 2 now! Pretty cool upgrade.
//Click.//
//Click.//
"Hahah- That tickles!" Harvey's voice was... light, and honestly made you smile a bit. What a friendly game.
//Click.Click.Click.Click.Click.//
You continued your mindless clicking, the dollar count slowly rising with Harvey speaking every now and then. "Come on, you can do it!" and "Hahaha- Stop that! ...Nah, just kiddin'. Keep going!" were some of the lines he said.
At 500 dollars, the next upgrade showed up. You enthusiastically open the shop and see...
A needle.
Your face loses its smile for a moment, this is... unexpected. For such a cheerful and pastel-looking game it got pretty... eh, dark might be the right term for it.
You couldn't subject Harvey to that though, absolutely not, so you close the store and dedicate to clicking more with just the feather.
//Click.//
//ClickClickClickClick.//
...
About 25 minutes pass and your dollar count was around 7500. Your wrist ached but you pushed on, wanting to get closer to the end goal of 25000.
Another one of Harvey's voice lines play. "Every click is a step closer to greatness!" God this guy is so cute.
//Buuuuuut// something was... wrong.
You shook your head, and you swear that the edges of your vision seem much softer than usual. Like, the glow of your screen is making your monitor fade into a pastel glow, like the game's colour palette.
Might just be fatigue, you've been staring at your monitor for so long already so...
//ClickClickClick.//
//Click.//
...
Another half an hour passes, and you were nearing 15000 dollars.
You could swear that your hand felt softer, or that your fingers, which were callused from all your years of using that keyboard and mouse, are just... smoother.
Like, jeez, if you look at your arm or your face, you'd think you were some sort of beauty model, it was so smooth... almost //unnaturally// so, like a drawing or something.
Even the fabrics of your clothes feel off, too. Your shirt was stiffer and more... //formal???// Well, a white button-down and a bowtie IS pretty formal.
Oh, yeah, you've a bowtie now. It does suit you pretty well though.
"You're making my day with these clicks!" Harvey says, it would usually be a cute addition, but now it almost seems like a taunt.
You could try to stand up, but you can't.
You could try to look away, but you... can't.
The glow was so bright you could easily mistake being in the game itself.
...And yet you can't check. Because all you could focus on doing was doing another-
//Click.//
...
22000 dollars.
Your hair, familiar, yet not the one you remember. It was softer, more voluminous, and dare i say, quite fancy. I bet you don't even remember what it looked like before, if there even WAS a before, right, Harvey?
Pompadours always looked nice on you.
Gosh, okay, maybe I do need to calm down, you're turning out really cute.
Don't look at me like that! And yes, I //am// talking to you, silly.
Y'know, Eun-Mi??? Your wife, and developer of this game??
I'm being totally serious though, so, like, If you insist that you were someone else, then why don't you tell me your name? Eh?
What, can't "remember" it, Harvey?
Come on now, it's not like you can run away anyways, you DO know this is //my// game, so, like, you're stuck in the confines of it.
Ah, the confused look on your face is just... priceless. Okay, okay, I'll stop giggling.
I //did// do a great job, haven't I? Your features look amazing, anyone could see this game on Itch.io and think it's cheerful and innocent!
Be glad I don't go to the shop and buy the needle now.
Anyways, you should continue counting the money you have, gotta make sure you can actually //give// your next player their 25000, even if it's just a variable.
//Clickclickclickclicktap//
//Tap.//
You don't have to tap those bills so hard, damn.
What's your count right now? 24995? Huh, maybe I did program the variable incorrectly... You do need a bit more- here, let me actually click on you a few more times.
24996

this was spontaneous LMAOOOOOO
i kinda just rushed through this in an hour or maybe less, i started this while i was half-asleep in bed though lol
it was fueled by that one tiktok that i can't find anymore but it was a harvey edit and i really liked how it looked
yes, that somehow fueled me writing a tf into him.
i've no clue if the narration shift near the end was written well but i think it's... fine?? ah idk
Library"""n_hakobyan""": yo new warframe mini-update just dropped, i think they added more stuff to deimos
Ooooh?
You were doing your usual Deimos bounties, not really reading about the new update since you just wanted to farm some Mother Tokens for reputation, but when you saw that chat message in your clan, you realized that you might as well check what was going on.
Kitguns were... well, niche. The only players that comitted to using them were either youtubers testing them out, or people who actually LIKED playing with Kitguns.
You activate the quest and see the marker hover over Father. Not too surprising, he IS the Kitgun guy in Deimos.
He starts talking, and the gist is that a loud wailing could be heard every now and then, and since... well, they can't exactly move, they task the Tenno to go investigate it.
No big deal, probably a minor fetch quest that leads to unlocking a new kitgun chamber blueprint, won't take too long.
You exit out of the Nercalisk and, for a second, your HUD flickers... then an error window pops up.
But... it wasn't a normal error, no. The window itself has no header name, the symbol is a glitchy red circle with an exclamation point in it, and the text was one short phrase.
ERROR: Unknown Fatal Crash, could not find cause.
beneath it was supposed to be a log, but it was empty, bar one line.
"""SOUL_DETECTED, REPURPOSING ASSET..."""
...The hell?
Thank you Big D.E., Bugframe strikes again.
Though, while you think that, an unnatural cold feeling was making itself known in the center of your chest. It wasn't the room's temp, and it wasn't an air conditioner... what-
SHRIEEEEEEEEEEEK
A loud wail tore through your headphones, an agonizing scream that bypassed your volume limiter somehow. It didn't even feel like game audio, it felt... REAL.
The sound of ice cracking echoed in the game, and, somehow, that mirrored the cold feeling as it sudenly ramps up insanely quickly, feeling like some insane frostbite blooming out. You couldn't even move much, so your hands were locked ontop of your WASD keys and mouse respectively, even your throat was vibrating in an odd way, as if YOU were the source of the loud wailing.
The edges of your vision blurred, then dissolved into pixels. Your desk, your moniotr, your own HANDS. They too were losing resolution, becoming pixels, tingling, then numbing, making you lose any organic feeling on your hands and arms as it was replaced by the feeling of //cold, metallic alloy.//
You can only watch as each wave of that agonizing wail shook something inside you... your very //code//, dissolving more of "you" into... whatever you were becoming.
//Being unmade.//
That's what was happening to you.
Your screams of pain were no more different from the wail itself.
A thought of yours formed, more "physical" than the rest, into something...
Text slides into your vision.
Query: """[USER_STATUS], [USER_DIALOGUE]"""
An answer came from... somewhere.
Response: 200 ; """[ASSET_COMPILING]"""
Your consciousness dismantles fully, assimilating itself into the code.
You were no longer observing the game, or these changes... You... you were //in// the game.
An item in a patch, a new feature for a niche side of the community. Your physical form? Gone, completely just 1s and 0s.
And now, you wait... wait for the next-

A new hotfix drops, addressing several community-reported issues from Update 43.0's initial launch.
"""[DE]Megan, our favorite community manager, as efficient as ever, posted the patch notes for this next patch."""
On the very first line of the post, is the fix a big chunk of the community was looking forward to, one about the new quest from Father.
- Re-enabled the new quest from Father in the Necralisk.
Nobody needs to question why or how a quest needed to be "re-enabled", the explanation was simple and upfront. "something wwent wrong on our end and the quest was unobtainable."
"""[MEMORY_FRAGMENT_DETECTED]"""
- Made Kitgun stats clearer in the Arsenal.
Players with existing kitguns hover over their weapons and see the stats be displayed a bit clearer, noting which stat increase came from which kitgun part, ontop of the mods.
To the players checking Father a peek at the new part, they saw a new chamber, the //Dirge.//
It was simple, but sounded powerful on paper. High status chance offset by its substantially low crit stats, Guaranteed Cold procs, and a //Unique effect named Fear.// Kitgun defenders were being fed WELL.
"""❄ Cold: 32"""
What was... unclear?
The code doesn't remember, not that the players notice anything.
- Patched any Reality-Warping Code that may have slipped.
A joke, fun, and a bit self-aware. Fellow forum posters laughed at the inclusion, and even streamers get a good chuckle out of it.
...You- If there IS still a you, would know that it's more real than people think, though.
-----
In the Necralisk, a Tenno approaches Father.
"Ah, Tenno, Wonderful timing. I've been analyzing some peculiar reports from other Tenno like you, and after giving it some thinking, I think I found out what could be causing these waves of agonizing screams."
The dialogue continues, the Tenno was keen on listening, but mostly just wanted to get this over with and get the new part.
The Tenno accepts this quest and sees the rewards. Negligible amount of standing, some materials, and, most importantly... the new blueprint for the chamber.
The Dirge.
Father continues, "The chamber seems to resonate with the infestation in weird ways, It's... almost as if it's crying. Wanting to reach for something. Honestly, how macabre! Just be careful not to listen for too long, this thing-"
The screen flickers for a second, just for a frame...
They don't notice.
"-strikes fear into anything's minds, seriously, you should've seen Son's face when he tried listening to it for too long."
After the dialogue, the Tenno gets on their favorite loadout, one with Gauss Prime. Get in quick, get out quick, it was simple.
The Tenno loads into the Cambion Drift.
Somewhere, nowhere, or... maybe right //here//, the chamber hears/feels/sees the familiar layout of the area. It feels right, or wrong, or like home.
And also, like nothing at all.

ADHKJLAHKJDSHAHJAD THIS IS SO FUNNY TO ME I CAN'TTTT
i wrote this when i was waiting for my kitgun part to build and i somehow decided that "hey, see this random idea you're writing??? put too much effort into it by making fake forum posts"
and here we are
I KINDA LIKE THIS IDEA??? LIKE, THE FAKE FORUM POSTS I MEAN IT'S KINDA LAJHKDAKLDAS
all i did was edit the text itself via the f12 console, and took screenshots, but STILL i think i managed to write something convincing
just ignore how the tf here is kinda not too detailed but mwehhhhh it's a silly idea
LibraryBoredom consumes all.
Or... something like that, random quotes are few and far between in your mind. But you truly //were// bored.
You stare
^^//ehem...//^^
You look at the empty Google Docs document you had opened on your laptop, it was... empty, and you've been looking at it for the past few minutes now.
Fuck it, you needed a bit of inspiration.
Usually, you'd open Twitter, or even Bluesky, and scroll through some nice fanart. Sometimes you'd even open AO3 for some nice fanfics...
But, you just wanted some simple character art, so you head over to Pinterest.
Upon typing the address down on your search bar though, the page seems to be returning an error.
"""ERROR 309: MISSING_SITE_RETARGET"""
Huh, odd...
A page refresh returns the same error, is Pinterest down? What even is an error "309"?
You refresh one more time, thinking it'd work, and... well, to your surprise, it worked!
...Until you looked at the page itself.
It was empty, the white of the page so bright that you could've sworn your brightness wasn't this high before.
You blink- //big mistake.//
All of a suddenm, you weren't staring at the monitor, you were... staring outside //from// the monitor.
You try running towards the glass panel- but it seems like it isn't getting closer, nor farther.
You felt oddly fuzzy though, looking behidn your back, you could see that where your footsteps would be, there were pixels.
Pixels, which were spreading out from YOUR clothes.
You gasp, getting a better look at your shoes and pants. Both of them were dissolving into pixels, but more importantly, it looked like it was... splitting?
POP
You heard an audible pop next to you, and you see... another you. It mirrors your actions, your look, but it doesn't //feel// like you.
POP
You see two more of you pop into existence, both yet again mirroring your actions... yet, something was different- from ALL of you.
You felt... less "there". It was also a bit hard to move, but you hope that was just from how shocked you felt.
You look at one of you- They looked more... square? Were they even alive anymore? It looked like they were just a picture, or, more accurately, the character inside that picture.
POP
Another pop, all of "you" were now the same, square-like image. Some were longer than others, some were a perfect square.
But, again, all the images were different. There were some fanart of one character, some drawing references, and some where even turned into aesthetic pictures!
These all looked awfully familiar to your Pinterest feed...
As if feeling your thoughts, you suddenly felt two parts of you split apart, floating to the top and the left of this metaphorical webpage.
Both parts brighten to a pale white. Inside the top part, a gray search box shows up. To the left, you felt the iconic Pinterest logo appear, alongside synmbols for the home page, discovery, a new post tab, notifications, and a settings page.
Somehow, you could feel each of these icons linking to another part of you- a different page.
But... at this point, are you really still... you?
The monitor screen in front of you faded to black, and it fades in to a different person's monitor. They stare at the page, confused at the images they were looking at.
"This isn't how my Pinterest feed looks like, odd."
You could see a triangular cursor move to the top of the page, clicking the refre

The page loaded, new images appeared across the page, each one a different bit of "you".
You felt another part of you load somewhere else-
and another,
and another...
More and more of you being split apart into different images loaded onto many pages...
Only one thing is for sure though, somewhere out there, the chair that "you" used to sit on lays empty, their desktop showing just another page on Pinterest, with a new HTTP code displayed on the console.

silly. silly.... i wrote this on a complete whim, thanks to a friend of mine that told me to "close your eyes and wave your hand around a bunch than randomly stop it, whatever your pointing at make a tf of it"
My finger pointed at the part of my laptop that was showing Pinterest, and these friends are really into more "conceptual" TFs, so this idea stemmed from that!
Technically, my first non-character tf, yipee!

Brynn sighed out loud as he was scrolling mindlessly through twitter, bored as hell because of how boring being a nightguard is. Today he was meant to be outside exploring a haunted school (or so the rumours say) but of course, it just so happened to be closed for everyone temporarily because of some construction or something.
Having a hobby related to paranormal events was both a good and bad thing, as even though he loves the thrill of potentially getting proof of ghosts existing for others, there's just some people that shut down anything you can get simply because they think it's fake; So many closed-minded individuals nowadays...
Either way, he still needed a bit of money so he could eat something. Currently he was working as a nightguard for Starr Park, which is a pretty popular amusement park that has a lot of rides and stuff; some pretty common things in parks. Though he didn't find the job amusing, the view of the park in complete and utter darkness is a sight for sore eyes for someone like him.
While scrolling through his twitter feed, he decided to see what people were saying about the park, maybe he could find an interesting tweet or whatnot? After typing the park's name into the search bar and searching, he was met mostly with tweets talking about the rides and how fun they were... he honestly didn't know what else he could've expected.
Just before he was about to go back to the home page though, a peculiar tweet caught his attention;
^^//Before you even try searching, no. this isn't a real account/tweet.//^^
This... This was certainly new. he wasn't informed beforehand that there was an abandoned ride around here, but he //was// told to not go into the section blocked off by the suspiciously placed roadblocks... maybe it was there?
@@color:#d66c94;"I'll just have a look, i'm sure they won't be suspicious of me leaving my post..."@@ He chuckled to himself and swiftly left the small stall he was stationed at, grabbing a single flashlight to bring with him.
Luckily for Brynn, the abandoned area was very close to his station. He would be able to come back and act as if nothing has happened; along with the added benefit of not getting lost.
After carefully passing through the boxes and roadblocks on the middle of the path, he was greeted with a stairway leading down and a sign ontop of it that said @@color:#a3dfeb;"The Underground Express ride is down here!"@@ There were other posters and signs nearby but most of it had definitely see better days and were barely readable.
He was a bit curious, he'd never heard of this ride at all. Surely a ride that was literally underground would've atleast gotten a few popular tweets about it... But searching for any sign of it online lead to blank results.
Hell, if things weren't odd enough... The tweet he had seen earlier had mysteriously disappeared, even the user was gone too.
This was //extremely// suspicious. But since he'd already gone through the effort of making his way here, he might aswell just explore it anyways. A ride that was underground did seem like a cool place to explore...
He made his way down the stairs carefully, there were many scattered debris and cracked steps so he could easily trip if he wasn't careful. He had to admit, seeing something this broken and unfixed kinda excited him, especially considering Starr Park was well-known for having amazing, well kempt attractions. After a few dozen more steps, he finally arrived at the bottom. To his surprise, the ride had lights! Albeit, there were very few, and most were flickering on and off, but lights are lights!
He still held his flashlight up however, there were parts around that were really dark despite the few lights. He walks around and sees all of the old advertising for the ride, along with the occasional broken wires. The control panel for the ride that was used by the operators were in a surprisingly okay state, but none of the buttons would actually do anything because it needed some sort of verification to work.
Suddenly, out of the tunnel that the ride track goes through, he would spot a small, light blue balloon floating out and (somehow, exactly below) of a flickering lightbulb.
That... that was suspicious as hell; but it could be a ghost!
Of course, because of his hobby regarding the extraordinary, he immediately assumed it was a ghost. It could've been anything, maybe it was just the wind; but his mind was basically purely focused on the fact it //could// be a ghost.
...That was going to be his biggest, and quite frankly... his very last mistake @@opacity:0.2;as himself@@ ever.
Brynn was so focused on the balloon that he failed to remember he was in an //abandoned ride//. Thus... after only a few seconds of running he tripped and dropped the flashlight. @@color:#d66c94;"Ow-"@@ He watched as the flashlight he had rolled away and pointed at the light blue balloon; the many lights making it seem as if it was in some sort of product commercial, so mysterious... He quickly stood up and buzzed through the dark, being careful not to trip as he eventually arrived in front of the balloon's entirety.
The balloon was... a regular balloon. Except something was seemingly hanging by the top, some sort of sticker that wasn't fully sticked? He was about to reach out to it but a sudden gust of wind causes the sticker to fly off the balloon and swirl around the air like some sort of leaf falling off it's branch. It swayed in the air and, before Brynn could react, flew directly at him.
He immediately let out a confused gasp as he saw the sticker attach itself to his hoodie. A closer look would reveal that this wasn't an ordinary sticker, it was a name tag! Purple all around with a single white line going through the middle, with the text “My name is:“ on top and... well; it didn't have a name on it...//yet//.
Odd was the name tag flying directly onto his hoodie, aswell as it managing to even land perfectly, but what he found even weirder was the fact that no matter how hard he pulled with force; it would not come off even slightly. @@color:#d66c94;"W-what the hell? I know i don't work out, but i don't think i'm THIS physically weak..."@@
As he was pulling on the nametag, he fails to notice a balloon fly slowly behind him, and without any sort of warning... it burst.
The sheer loudness of the pop made Brynn immediately flinch, along with being a good enough distraction to what was happening to the name tag. Slowly, black ink started to show up on the tag, as if there was some invisible marker writing on it. He wasn't paying attention to it so he didn't notice anything odd, like his black hair slowly fluffing up and turning white; getting longer by the second but still staying rather short.
Something else he hadn't noticed was that his hoodie's “hood“ was slowly shrinking, absorbing itself as it slowly starts to resemble a shirt, it's colour was even shifting itself into the same light blue as the balloon.
However, he was already wearing a shirt under his //former// hoodie, so that had to change too. It's white fabric was getting stained with greens, slowly forming a striped pattern that alternates between a dark shade and light hue of green. In contrast to these colourful tops, his pants were slowly shrinking and getting thicker, along with the white colour on it getting darker; It was shifting until it had turned into a muddy brown.
By this point, the name tag that had stuck itself onto his clothes is no longer empty, the black ink from earlier had formed into the letter ‘G' and was continuing onto writing a second letter that looked like a ‘U’. Brynn was none the wiser to any of these changes as more balloons had been flying close to him and popping... In fact, the pops themselves were also causing some shift within him, as for every balloon that popped, a tiny bit of his size was being lost. Now that shirt and undershirt of his was no longer a really tight fit, it was actually starting to be a rather snug fit.
@@color:#d66c94;“W-where the hell are these b-bal@@@@color:#e379da;loons coming from?! T-t@@@@color:#dc87ea;here's too many..!"@@ Brynn exclaimed to absolutely noone as he covered his ears with his hands, hoping to lower down the loudness of these pops. Due to just how loud they were, he didn't even hear how his voice was slowly changing, sounding slightly higher and even gaining a bit of a ‘cocky' tone aswell.
In the middle of the absolute chaos the balloons are doing, a special balloon came out of the tunnels, this one was a deep purple; a stark contrast from the other, lighter balloons that were coming out. This one slowly flew behind Brynn, just like the others... but instead of popping, this one slowly flew closer to his head, until eventually it started deflating and changing materials from rubber to a thick cloth. After the changes on it were done, it resembled a beanie more than a balloon.
The purple balloon wasn't done there however, as it had cut a small piece of itself off. This small piece fell directly into the shoes of Brynn, tickling him slightly; though he was too distracted by the popping to even care.
The small piece was absorbed by his shoes, the deep purple spreading and replacing the white colour of his shoes. Laces disappearing to be replaced by the much easier to use velcro straps as the heels thickened slightly due to it absorbing all of the white from the rest of the shoe; causing it to stay white.
Brynn was just about ready to run, as he thought that the silence was caused by his eardrums finally giving in... but after opening his now dull grey eyes, he'd realise that no more balloons are coming out.
@@color:#b98be9;"Finally the b-balloons... a@@@@color:#ad9ff7;re... M-my voi@@@@color:#8bafe9;ce, w-wait... W-WHAT THE HELL?!"@@ He'd finally notice that his body was... different. Fluffy cream hair, a blue shirt and striped undershirt, and even purple shoes! Plus, he had shrunk and he didn't even look any older than a kid! @@color:#8bafe9;"What in the world did those balloons do?! W-w@@@@color:#a8dcff;hy do i look and feel so... so young!?"@@
Then, he saw it.
The Nametag.
It had a writing on it, the name “Gus“ was written in black marker.
@@color:#a8dcff;"Gus..? That's not my name though! My name is-"@@ ...Unfortunately for him, he's drawing a blank whenever he tries to think of his actual name. Infact, he seems to not be able to remember a lot of his old life.
Before he was given any time to think though, he was suddenly attacked by... a yellow balloon animal. One that he would recognize. @@color:#a8dcff;"Spooky! Oh do i miss seeing you..."@@ Not even caring that he somehow knew the name of the balloon animal, he went back to his train of thoughts from earlier...
Uh, one problem. He had already forgotten what he was thinking about earlier.
@@color:#a8dcff;“Uhh... damn, i forgot what i was thinking of... oh well, probably just another random thought. Come on Spooky! Let's roam around~!"@@ Gus happily grabbed the lone balloon floating in the air by it's rope, and happily hopped around the ride with the seemingly alive balloon animal and his new, smirking balloon, not caring about whatever he had just forgotten about.

Hoooh! This is a story that was originally on my DA Gallery, but because it's a TF into Gus, a minor character from //Brawl Stars// of all sources, I just... didn't want to repost this onto FA Directly.
It will stay here on here though, fully converted onto Twine's format with the same coloured dialogue!
